Caroline Draper is a British artist who has travelled Canada - living in both Nova Scotia and Ontario.
Her art deconstructs the fast pace of life and lays it bare for all to see in its simplist colours and forms. Abstract work allows the viewer to see the inner workings of Caroline's mind and join her on a journey of exploration. Caroline has been successful as an abstract canvas painter but enjoys the new boundries that she can push working digitally. Her canvas and prints have sold well in Canada and Europe.

Jam Night in the Church House Inn
Well, if you weren't there, you missed something very special in our local pub Tuesaday night. Pete Knaggs - lead guitarist from The Cadence - invited musicians to come along and join in with a jam session in The Farmers Bar.
The result was a very relaxed atmosphere with superb renditions from locals and visitors alike. The aray of music was sublime, from gentle folk to heavy rock and most things in between, even some Blue Grass.
Luckily it's going to happen again! Landlords Anthony and Nicky are going to make this a regular slot. So, make a BIG note in your diary to come along to The Church House Inn next Tuesday. Bring something to play if your that way inclined, or if (like me) you prefer simply to sit back, relax and prepare to have an evening of fabulous entertainment.

Combeinteignhead singers
meet every Thursday Night at the Church House Inn at 7.30, for a
fun singing evening with good instruction, the group varies in size up
to 22 singers.
We have been known to undertake a charity performance and have produced a recent
CD. No need of prior singing experience, just come along and enjoy the fun and
maybe a drink after.
